SIAN LOWE- CHIROPRACTOR

Sian was inspired to become a chiropractor from a young age after experiencing sporting injuries herself. She graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2015 and has since been dedicated to helping patients improve movement, comfort, and overall wellbeing through chiropractic care.
Sian’s approach focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of pain rather than simply treating symptoms. She has a particular interest in treating neck pain and headaches, including posture-related neck pain and tension-type headaches. By improving spinal function, posture, and mobility, Sian aims to support long-term relief from recurring neck pain and headaches.
Every patient receives an individually tailored chiropractic treatment plan, developed around their symptoms, lifestyle, and health goals. Sian is committed to providing a high standard of care and continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing professional development and by keeping up to date with current research.
She has completed additional training in pregnancy and paediatric chiropractic care, allowing her to safely combine a range of techniques to meet each patient’s individual needs.
Outside of the clinic, Sian enjoys staying active, playing in several rounders leagues, and walking her dog, Sven. As a mum, she understands first-hand the importance of good spinal health, particularly when managing neck pain and headaches in busy everyday life.

WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?
WHAT WE CAN TREAT
Chiropractic specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions. Chiropractors utilise a package of care and treatment interventions which may include: manual therapy (spinal manipulation, joint mobilisations, soft tissue massage) exercise therapy or lifestyle advice.
Chiropractic is a highly regulated healthcare profession- the care delivered by chiropractors has been evidenced extensively to be safe and effective. In the UK, chiropractors are regulated by law and required to adhere to strict codes of practice.
Chiropractic care can support people of all ages, helping your body function at its best by improving movement, strength, and overall spinal health.
Whether you are recovering from a sports injury, experiencing work-related back or neck pain, or adapting to physical changes during pregnancy, chiropractic treatment can help support your body’s natural ability to heal. By improving joint mobility and reducing strain on the nervous system, chiropractic care aims to relieve pain, improve function, and help prevent long-term problems from developing.

FIRST VISIT
FOLLOW UP TREATMENTS
Before your visit, we’ll ask you to complete an online registration form to tell us about your current condition and general medical history.
During your initial appointment, we’ll take the time to discuss your concerns and perform a thorough physical examination. This may include orthopaedic and neurological tests, as well as assessments of posture and range of movement, to help accurately diagnose your condition.
We’ll explain our findings clearly, including a diagnosis and personalised treatment options tailored to your needs. If further tests, such as imaging, are required, we’ll guide you through the next steps.
We believe it’s important that you feel able to manage your health, so we’ll provide advice on the most effective ways to reduce pain and support recovery from the very start. Your first treatment is usually carried out during this session. But if we don’t believe Chiropractic is right for you- we’ll be honest and help guide you to get the right help.
We will discuss how you have been following the first treatment, reassess and begin treatment. How many sessions you need will be discussed with you, as treatment is totally tailored to you.
